Hi! My name is Kurt Kleiss.
I am a student at Lincoln Land Community College. I decided to return to school to update my IT skills and work towards a certificate in Web Page Design and Graphics. After living in Maryland for 18 years, I came back to Illinois and am currently residing in Auburn with my wife, Holly.
I have spent the last 11 years working in the IT field in jobs ranging from help desk manager to community college instructor. The area that I am currently concentrating on is online course development. When I previously worked in online development, I developed courses in Blackboard on using MLA formatting for the English department at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. I also developed a training tutorial on using the Online Technology Exam. While working for SIU as a course developer/consultant, I was a member of the team that developed the Illinois WorkNet Training Tutorial for the State of Illinois.
For relaxation, my hobbies include fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and building/pulling Quarter Scale tractors. I also like to exercise by walking, riding my mountain bike, swimming, and lifting weights.
